Before deciding to work with one another, you'll probably be curious about who I am. I founded Free Me! Brighton in January 2003 and still run the company on a day to day basis. The first 11 years of my life were nomadic; we lived all over the UK until settling in London. I think this is why I find it easy to mix with all sorts of people; I just became very chameleonic in my formative years!

I am accredited as a coach by the OCN; the highest award for a coach available in the UK today which means I am part of an elite group of less than 300 co aches. The college I trained with have a strict Code Of Conduct and as a member, I agree to abide by it. www.ukclc.net/faq/ethics.asp

Jo is a warm and energetic person; she has made a career out of her ability to sort things out. Her experience and personality give her the greatest credentials for life coaching/mentoring/training. Heather Buckley, Director, Silicon Beach Training

I received runner up for "Entrepreneur Of The Year 2003" at The Sussex Business Awards, an achievement I am very proud of, as the business had only been going for 7 months.

I use mentoring & training techniques in my work too, which gives my clients great value for money. My clients are passionate about their business growth, their work life balance and earning well. I love helping them get what they deserve with minimum struggle and stress.

I've mainly worked in hospitality, sales & marketing roles since leaving college in 1985. My favourite fun job (although very hard work!) was as holiday rep and manager for 6 years for First Choice, I've also held senior roles within Virgin & BT amongst others. Since moving to Brighton in 1995, I've worked in small, medium and large companies which means I've gained invaluable insight and experience within all sizes of businesses.

I decided to become at coach after looking at counselling and therapy, they tended to look into the past, whereas coaching looks at the future, where ANYTHING is possible! That suits me better as I am excited about what lies ahead. My personal attitude is what's behind me is done, learn from it and move on.

I am planning to train as a mentor for the Princes Trust in 2006 & in Brighton I run a very sociable coaching exchange on a monthly basis. I've also been the main organiser of Women In Business - Brighton & Hove - a fabulous networking group for 18 months.

I have known Jo in a business capacity since 2003 and I have to say that her enthusiasm for her profession and bubbly nature are contagious. Jo has a wonderful positive 'can do' attitude to life that rubs off on others and is essential for a good coach. Sara Knights - Lifestyle Coaching

I enjoy writing for publications including the Sussex wide paper 'The Argus' and 'The Coach' a specialised publication. I cover subjects that relate to coaching and training anything from motivation to marketing.

I live in Brighton city centre with my fiancé John and a huge black & white cat called Billy. My burning ambitions in life are to write books, live in the country & be happy!

I work with two coach/mentors who I'd dearly like to thank here, Shaun O'Reilly and Kate Elliott. Without them...I'd be less than I am.

Due to living in the heart of this fun and cosmopolitan city, my hobbies are very social and because you can't park easily, I have a bike not a car, the cycling keeps me fit and the social life ensures I meet lots of new people regularly.
